Peridot Tax Recommendations and Policies:

Yearly Tax Planning is highly recommended.
Peridot encourages clients to schedule year end tax planning between October 16 and January 15 with our consultants. This will help alleviate any tax or penalties you may owe once we have completed your return.

Current Clients will automatically receive tax return extensions for the year if your documents have not been submitted OR your return has not been completed by March 15th.
If you would like a copy of your return extension, please reach out to peridot@peridotconsultinginc.com.
Clients are required to notify Peridot or the relevant team member when uploading documents to Canopy.
Peridot batch files tax returns every Friday during tax season once all corresponding forms have been signed and invoices have been paid.
Peridot follows the precedent for tax return refunds/payments from prior years unless otherwise instructed.
Peridot will automatically set up estimates, if required, when completing tax returns.

Peridot Bookkeeping Policies:
Peridot Bookkeeping clients must submit all requested information including bank statements, document requests, and answers to questions before your books can be closed for the year.
Client Responsibilities
It is the client’s responsibility to provide openly and with confidence:
Clear and accurate information and documentation in a timely manner.
Additionally, you agree to honor all scheduled meetings, in person, video or telephone, to ensure the scope of the engagement moves forward in accomplishing goals.
Depending on the type of service you engage Peridot Consulting, Inc. to perform, we may require you to provide information and/or documentation on a periodic basis — monthly or quarterly.
To perform our services, we may request such items as the following and any other information that we may require to complete the work of this engagement:
check registers, bank statements
customer account information
customer invoices, sales ledgers and receipts
sales tax account information
vendor information, purchase orders and vendor invoices
federal tax ID number
payroll information, employee data
unemployment account information
These items and any other items we obtain from you will be based on information provided by you and will be used without any further verification or investigation on our part.
